Why do we process personal data?

Personal data are used to manage customer orders and deliver goods. Purchase history data (date, goods, amount and customer details) are used to create an overview of goods and services and analyse customer preferences. The bank account number is used to refund money to the Customer. Personal data (e-mail, phone number and name) are processed in order to resolve issues related to purchasing goods and services (customer support).

Who do we forward personal data to?

Personal data are forwarded to the Online Store’s customer support in order to manage the purchase history and resolve customers’ issues.

We process personal data for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with the Customer. Punnis Possu OÜ is responsible for processing personal data. The company forwards the information required for completing payments to the appointed processer (Maksekeskus AS).

Name, phone number and e-mail are forwarded to the transport service provider selected by the Customer. If goods are delivered by a courier, the Customer’s address is forwarded in addition to their other contact details.

If the service provider does the accounting for the Online Store, personal data are forwarded to the service provider for accounting purposes.

Personal data can also be forwarded to IT providers if this is necessary to ensure the functionality or data management of the Online Store.

Security and access to data

The data collected when products are purchased from the Online Store are treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the safety of the personal data and banking details of the Customer.

Online Store employees have access to personal data. They are able to review the personal data in order to resolve technical issues related to the use of the Online Store and to provide customer support.

The Online Store implements appropriate physical, organisational and IT security measures to protect personal data from being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, amended, accessed or published.

Use of e-mail

E-mail addresses are used to send out direct marketing if the Customer gives their consent for this on the website. If the Customer does not wish to be sent direct marketing, they may select the appropriate option in the e-mail footer or contact customer service.

At the same time, we may notify customers of offers via our newsletters based on the personal data we have collected. We seek the Customer’s consent for receiving our newsletter when they purchase goods in our Online Store.
